Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VaidyaDesk Jobs (the “Service”) at jobs.vaidyadesk.com, operated by Vaidya Desk (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service — whether to browse listings, apply for a role, join the talent bank, subscribe to alerts, or submit a job — you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for adults seeking or offering employment in the Ayurveda healthcare sector.
3. What the Service is
VaidyaDesk Jobs is a specialized job board that connects Ayurveda employers with healthcare professionals. We review and publish employer listings and make candidate applications available to the relevant employer. We are not an employer or an employment agency, we are not a party to any employment relationship formed between candidates and employers, and we do not guarantee any job, interview, hire, response, or other outcome.
4. Candidate responsibilities
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current information in your applications and talent-bank profile.
- Only upload a résumé and information you have the right to share.
- Understand that applying for a role shares your details with that employer, and that talent-bank consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.
- Do not impersonate any person or organization or submit another person's data without authorization.
5. Employer responsibilities
- Submit accurate, lawful, and non-misleading listings for genuine openings you are authorized to advertise.
- Comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws.
- Use candidate information only to evaluate applicants for the role, and handle it lawfully and confidentially.
- Do not post listings that require payment from candidates, are discriminatory, or are otherwise unlawful or deceptive.
6. Listing review & publication
Employer submissions are reviewed before publication, and we may edit, decline, delay, or remove any listing at our discretion. Review helps us maintain quality but does not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or availability of any opening and is not an endorsement of any employer or role.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Post or transmit content that is unlawful, false, harmful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect listings or candidate data through automated means without our permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as expressly permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, submitting spam, or sending excessive automated requests.
8. Content you submit
You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service, including applications, résumés, and job listings. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display (for published listings), and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content you submit.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights in the Service.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as cloud hosting, database and file storage, authentication and sign-in, email delivery, bot protection, and analytics. Your interactions with those services may be subject to their respective terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Without limiting the foregoing, we make no guarantee regarding employment, hiring, responses to applications, the accuracy of any listing, or the suitability of any candidate or employer.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100) if no fees have been paid.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or remove any content, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security or integrity of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.
15. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
